Sara Parker is a certified mediator with over twenty years of legal experience, licensed to practice law in California, Oregon, and Washington. She holds Martindale-Hubbell’s AV Preeminent rating—an honor given to only 5% of attorneys nationwide—and has been recognized as a California Super Lawyer and one of San Francisco Magazine’s Top Women Attorneys in Northern California.

After decades in the courtroom, Sara saw first-hand how litigated conflicts drain parties’ time, money, and energy and how more meaningful and effective resolutions can be reached when people work through their differences with clear communication and practical forward thinking solutions. She brings that experience to her mediation practice, helping individuals and businesses reach fair, lasting, and enforceable agreements without the stress and expense of litigation.

Sara earned her Juris Doctorate. from the University of San Francisco School of Law. She is a member of the State Bars of California, Oregon and Washington and has litigated and mediated cases throughout the United States. She has extensive mediation training and has served on volunteer mediation panels in Northern California.

Laurel Purewal is a licensed California attorney with over two decades of experience as a practicing attorney and litigation consultant. Her background provides a clear understanding of both the legal process and the human dynamics behind every dispute.

Over her career, Laurel has worked on business, personal injury, family law, and civil litigation matters. She has also led hundreds of litigation focus groups, gaining meaningful insight into the psychology of conflict and effective paths to resolution.

Drawing on her experience, Laurel guides parties toward efficient, fair, and lasting outcomes. Her calm presence, clear communication, and pragmatic yet empathetic style, helps clients move through conflict with clarity and confidence. She is committed to creating a professional, respectful environment where all parties feel heard, understood, and empowered to reach meaningful and enforceable agreements.

Lauren earned her law degree from Golden Gate University School of Law. She is a member of the State Bar of California and has served as a panelist and as a CLE lecturer on a variety of topics. Laurel is also a volunteer mediator for the Contra Costa Superior Court.
